Please read these terms carefully before using RepTalk. By using our app, you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using RepTalk ("the App") you agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App (or 16 in the EU/EEA). By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter these Terms.

3. Account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
  • You may not create more than one account per person.

4. Licence

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use and in accordance with these Terms.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its code
  • Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) against the App or its API
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose

5. Subscriptions & Billing

5.1 Plans

RepTalk offers three plan tiers:

  • Free: 10 voice minutes per month, no charge
  • Starter: 100 voice minutes per month, billed monthly or annually
  • Pro: Unlimited voice minutes per month, billed monthly or annually

Exact prices are displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase in the App.

5.2 Voice Minute Quotas

Voice minutes measure the duration of audio recordings processed by our AI. They reset on the 1st of each calendar month and do not roll over.

5.3 Billing & Renewal

All paid subscriptions are auto-renewing. Your payment method will be charged at the start of each billing period (monthly or annual). Billing is processed by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android).

5.4 Cancellation

You may cancel at any time through your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial periods.

5.5 Refunds

Refund requests are subject to Apple's or Google's refund policies, as all billing is handled by them. We have no ability to issue refunds directly.

5.6 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes take effect at the next renewal. If you do not accept the new price, you must cancel before the renewal date.

5.7 Restore Purchases

Use Settings → Upgrade → "Restore purchases" to restore a subscription after reinstalling the App or on a new device.

6. Voice Data & AI Processing

  • By using voice logging you consent to your voice recording being transmitted to OpenAI's Speech-to-Text API for transcription.
  • We do not permanently store your raw audio.
  • AI transcription is not perfect. You are responsible for reviewing logged sets and correcting any errors.
  • Voice logging is provided "as is" — we do not guarantee accuracy for all accents, languages, or ambient conditions.

7. Offline Use & Sync

The App is designed to work offline. When offline, recordings are queued locally and processed when connectivity is restored. You acknowledge that:

  • Queued recordings may be processed later under any applicable quota in effect at the time of processing, not at the time of recording.
  • If you cancel your subscription while recordings are queued, they will be processed under your new (lower) quota.
  • We are not responsible for data loss caused by uninstalling the App before offline recordings are synced.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for anything other than personal, non-commercial workout tracking
  • Attempt to circumvent quota enforcement or subscription checks
  • Upload malicious files or attempt to exploit our API
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Use the App in a way that violates any applicable law

9. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and software in the App are owned by or licensed to us. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our intellectual property except as described in Section 4.

User-generated content (your workout data) remains your property. You grant us a limited licence to store and process it solely to provide the App's services.

10. Disclaimers

  • The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
  • We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI transcriptions will be accurate.
  • RepTalk is not a medical or fitness-professional substitute. Consult a qualified trainer or physician before starting a new exercise programme.
  • We are not responsible for any injury resulting from workouts tracked in the App.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profit, or personal injury, arising out of your use or inability to use the App.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability; in such cases liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RepTalk and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the App.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other legitimate business reason, with or without notice. On termination, your licence to use the App ends immediately.

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account, which ends these Terms between us except for sections that survive termination by their nature (intellectual property, limitation of liability, disputes).

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice or email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts.

For EU/EEA consumers: Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory statutory consumer rights in your country of residence.
